Travel with us to the magical islands that enchanted Charles Darwin and inspired his studies.
10 Night GetAway, including 7 nights on board the all-suite Celebrity Flora
Jan 23 – Feb 1, 2026
Six hundred miles due west of Ecuador, for millions of years they have been home to plants and animals that adapted to this unique environment. The islands are beautiful, yes. But their true splendor comes from their unique place in our ecosystem and the opportunity they give us to encounter the past, face to face.
The average life-span of the Blue-footed booby is 17 years. Known for their blue-feet and unruffled attitude toward humans, this booby is one of the most popular wildlife attractions in the Galapagos.
Perhaps the best known creature in the Galapagos though is the one for which the islands are named. Galapago is an old Spanish word for tortoise. The Giant Tortoises are justifiably the most famous residents of the islands, weighing up to 400 lbs (and more) and living for up to 150 years!
Here’s our typical day in the Galápagos
Morning: Start the day with a leisurely breakfast, the perfect combination of fresh coffee and fresh air. Then climb into your wet suit for the day’s adventures. Get seated comfortably in the specially designed RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) for the commute to your first island, where you’ll find yourself surrounded by hundreds of marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies and so much more. Relax at the beach, do some snorkeling, or join a guided hike and get to know the incredible inhabitants up close.

Afternoon: Exploring works up an appetite! Return to the ship for a freshly prepared lunch as you recall the morning’s adventures. As you dine, your ship moves to the next destination. After lunch, suit-up, hop in the RIBs, and get ready for another afternoon of excursions. The RIBs are fixed to the ship with clamps, which means they move with the ship making it very easy to get on and off. They are twice the width of traditional RIB so your knees will have plenty of room and won’t be pressed against the person opposite of you. From white sand beaches to black lava flows each island presents unique discoveries.

Evening: As the sun begins to lower, meet at the bar to unwind and share your experiences with fellow travelers. Take in an evening briefing about what the next day holds before settling down for a gourmet dinner, full of fresh seafood and local flavors. Relax and get ready for tomorrow’s adventures.
Every day of experience will bring a lifetime of memories
Spend part of your day snapping photos of marine iguanas and ancient tortoises and hiking amid the beautiful flowers and cacti. Stop along the way to greet the sea lions. You can snorkel with sea turtles, learn about hundreds of bird species and return to your ship for a well earned dinner – prepared from scratch and grilled masterfully. Unwind and linger casually under the breathtaking stars as you reminisce about the day and look forward to new adventures tomorrow.
