This remarkable itinerary combines some of Northern Europe’s great capitals with smaller ports rarely featured on traditional cruise itineraries. Wander Copenhagen’s colorful waterfront, explore medieval Ystad, discover the Hanseatic heritage of Gdańsk, walk the ancient walls of Visby and visit the island landscapes of Saaremaa before continuing to Helsinki and Tallinn and concluding among the islands and waterways of Stockholm.
With just one day at sea, this is a wonderfully destination-focused voyage—yet your time aboard World Navigator is an important part of the experience. The Itinerary
Day 1 — Copenhagen, Denmark
Embark World Navigator
Begin in one of Europe’s most appealing capitals. Copenhagen combines royal history, cutting-edge Scandinavian design and a wonderfully walkable historic center. Explore colorful Nyhavn, the city’s palaces and waterfront neighborhoods before boarding World Navigator and beginning our Baltic adventure.

Day 2 — Ystad, Sweden
Our first port introduces the quieter side of Sweden. Ystad’s remarkably preserved center is filled with cobblestone lanes, colorful half-timbered houses, St. Mary’s Church and the 13th-century Greyfriars Abbey. Nearby Österlen offers beautiful countryside and the mysterious seaside stone formation of Ales Stenar.

Day 3 — Warnemünde, Germany (Gateway to Berlin)
Choose between the seaside charms of Warnemünde and a full-day exploration of Berlin. Germany’s capital offers landmarks including the Brandenburg Gate, remnants of the Berlin Wall, Museum Island and Berlin Cathedral, while Warnemünde provides a much more relaxed day along Germany’s Baltic coast.

Day 4 — At Sea
A welcome opportunity to enjoy World Navigator. Relax on deck, visit the spa, attend an enrichment program or simply enjoy the yacht as we cruise deeper into the Baltic.
Day 5 — Gdańsk, Poland
One of the great surprises of the Baltic, Gdańsk combines a beautifully reconstructed historic center with centuries of maritime and Hanseatic history. Walk the colorful Long Market, see Neptune’s Fountain and explore the atmospheric waterfront of this fascinating Polish city.

Day 6 — Kalmar, Sweden
Dominated by magnificent Kalmar Castle, this historic Swedish city combines Renaissance architecture with an appealing waterfront setting. Excursions may also explore nearby Öland, known for its distinctive landscapes, villages and historic windmills.

Day 7 — Visby, Gotland, Sweden
One of the highlights of the voyage. UNESCO-listed Visby is encircled by remarkably preserved medieval walls and filled with cobblestone streets, ruined churches and historic stone buildings—a wonderfully atmospheric glimpse into the Baltic’s Hanseatic past.
Day 8 — Saaremaa, Estonia
Estonia’s largest island offers an entirely different Baltic experience. Explore the charming town of Kuressaare and its imposing medieval castle or venture into the countryside to discover traditional windmills, coastal landscapes and the unusual Kaali meteorite crater.

Day 9 — Helsinki, Finland
Finland’s sophisticated capital blends striking architecture, excellent design and abundant green space. Highlights include bustling Market Square, the remarkable Rock Church and UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna fortress, spread across islands in Helsinki’s harbor.

Day 11 — Stockholm, Sweden
Disembark World Navigator
Our voyage concludes in beautiful Stockholm, a city spread across islands connected by bridges and waterways. Historic Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, fascinating museums and elegant neighborhoods make Stockholm an ideal finale—and a very good reason to stay a little longer.
